Mark Cottom acted for a council which had ordered a couple to remove a shipping container from the front yard of their residential premises. Part of the shipping container was also located on the public road reserve. As the order was not complied with, the matter was taken to the Land and Environment Court and after negotiating some consent orders with the respondents, Mark successfully sought and obtained the removal of the shipping container together with payment of the council's costs of the proceedings.
