Kells are very proud of their law cadets. We were the first firm in the Illawarra to establish a dedicated program to train law students in the practical component of legal practice whilst undertaking the academic requirements for a law degree.
Kells has been successfully running this program for over 16 years. Successful applicants who join our program are expected to work full time for one semester each calendar year with the remaining semester being devoted to full time study. Cadets rotate between different divisions within the firm and are exposed to a broad range of legal work, representing some of the most successful and energetic businesses in the Illawarra and Sydney.
Kells has a proven track record that a combination of academic studies and practical experience can work successfully and we have a commitment to assisting our law cadets complete their studies in as short a timeframe as possible.
We see it as our mission to provide our cadets with the opportunity to work on interesting cases, with interesting and challenging clients and the opportunity to take on responsibility.
Due to a large intake of cadets in 2011, we do not anticipate recruiting for new cadets to take place until later in 2012/2013. Any vacancies are advertised on www.seek.com.au and www.mycareer.com.au websites.
