ABOUT AMANDA

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours)
  • Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (Distinction)
  • Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice

Amanda is based in our Shellharbour office and specialises in both commercial law and wills and succession planning. This multidisciplinary practice allows Amanda to provide her individual and corporate clients with well-rounded advice to meet all of their personal and business legal needs.

Amanda advises her business clients on a broad range of commercial and property matters including commercial leasing, business sales and purchases, general business contracts, business structuring and intellectual property. Her clients appreciate her excellent technical skills when drafting and advising on their business agreements.

Amanda also has extensive experience in preparing wills, enduring powers of attorney and appointments of enduring guardian. Her focus is on providing comprehensive and innovative estate planning advice suited to individual client needs. She has experience in incorporating the new and delicate issues of IVF treatment and cyber assets into wills and also drafted Kells’ Advance Health Care Directive precedent, being one of the first of its kind in NSW.

Amanda is also a graduate of the University of Wollongong’s Black Opal Leadership Program and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Amanda’s hobbies include travelling and karate, and she has recently combined the two as a member of the Australian Shinkyokushin karate team. She also has a moderate fluency in Indonesian. Amanda also keeps herself busy as a member of the Shellharbour BNI networking chapter and the Albion Park Show Society committee.

Amanda is currently the vice president of Shellharbour BNI (a global business networking and referral group.
