
Qualifications:
Gabrielle was appointed as an Associate in 2012. She is experienced in the areas of insolvency, mortgage recovery and debt recovery. She has practised predominately in these areas since her admission as a lawyer in 2004, having joined Kells in 2010.
She has acted for many banks and non bank lenders across Australian jurisdictions as well as numerous liquidators and receivers.
Prior to joining Kells Gabrielle had conduct of mortgage recovery and debt recovery matters which included providing advice on appropriate recovery options, preparing pleadings and evidence and appearing in the Supreme Court for defended matters and the Federal Magistrates Court for bankruptcy matters. She also assisted with receivership and liquidation matters including undertaking a complex security reviews and document management functions.
Since joining Kells, Gabrielle has taken on conduct of matters in a number of new areas of law including:
Gabrielle in involved in all aspects of the practice, demonstrating practical skills in the drafting of detailed advices, preparation of pleadings and affidavits and the provision of high-end litigation support in respect of contested hearings and appeals.
Gabrielle has a particular interest in advocacy and conducts all appearances on her matters, having appeared in the Supreme Court of NSW, the District Court, the Local Court and Federal Magistrates Court on behalf of clients.
Outside of Kells, Gabrielle plays field hockey and enjoys reading.
