Corporations: breaches of directors duties both as breach of fiduciary duties and under the Corporations Act; shareholders disputes; preference payments; statutory demands; recovery against various creditors including third-party suppliers, banks, insurers, law firms, and the ATO; uncommercial transactions and insolvent trading actions; employment and OH&S matters.
Contracts: enforcement; restructuring; joint venture agreements; commercial leases; use and enforcement of Security of Payments Act claims.
Trade practices: restraint of trade confidentiality and trade secrets enforcement and defences; third-line forcing; misleading and deceptive conduct; professional negligence (lawyers, engineers, surveyors, architects, accountants and property valuers); trade mark breaches.
Trusts: deeds of trust on behalf of corporate trustee; obligations pursuant to deeds and at law generally; real property interests in constructive trusts or resulting trusts.
Property: possession of real property and commercial and residential mortgages; equitable subrogation in disputed mortgage recovery.
