Adam has extensive experience in criminal law matters, including drink driving, assaults, drug possession, negligent driving and apprehended domestic violence orders (AVOs). Adam knows that these charges can have a significant impact on a person and their livelihood. His diverse experience ensures that the bigger picture is never forgotten. For example, an AVO can have a dramatic impact on a person’s ability to continue to see their children and may also affect their family law proceedings.
Adam applies his expertise in both areas of law to ensure that all consequences can be addressed. No matter what the charge, any action bought by the police can have dramatic and far reaching consequences. Adam has considerable court room experience and can assist you defend any criminal matter.
Adam also has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, property settlements and parenting matters. Adam can assist with child support assessments and spousal maintenance.
Adam’s experience in family law also extends to matters involving de facto relationships, including same sex couples who also have considerable rights under the Family Law Act.
Family law matters do not always have to involve court proceedings. Adam can assist in negotiating and documenting agreements between parties without the need for court proceedings, either by way of Consent Orders or Binding Financial Agreements.
Unfortunately, not all matters are able to be amicably settled by the parties and the only reasonable alternative is to go to court. If court proceedings are necessary, Adam assists his clients in every step of the way, from preparing court documents to appearing at Court. Adam fights hard to ensure that his clients receive everything that they are entitled to and ensures that they are always kept up to date about what is happening.
Adam is a keen sportsman and in addition to being a member of the Wollongong Vikings Rugby Club and Kembla Grange Golf Club he enjoys playing cricket, touch football and basketball.
