What Our Clients Say

About

Cassandra is a family lawyer, situated in our Wollongong and Sydney office locations. She practices exclusively in family law and is known by her colleagues for her pragmatic and conciliatory approach in helping people during what can be a challenging experience in a family law matter.

Prior to joining Kells, Cassandra worked in a boutique family law firm in the Sydney CBD.

What she does

Cassandra works with clients across a broad range of family law matters, including parenting and property arrangements for married and de-facto couples, and applications for divorce.

Cassandra is also able to advise clients with respect to Binding Child Support Agreements and Binding Financial Agreements (whether it be during a relationship or following separation).

Cassandra is particularly passionate about resolving matters without the need for Court, and generating a number of solutions and options for clients to resolve the issues, however obscure they may be, in their separation.

“Family law is an extremely emotional and complex area of the law. As family lawyers, we need to be present to our clients at times of need, but also ensure to provide them with options to be able to resolve the issues in dispute.

As our clients are stressed and, at times, feel embarrassed to be seeing a family lawyer, I ensure to be able to provide advice in a clear and concise way and being their helping hand through the next chapter of their lives”.

Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong. Cassandra also keeps up-to-date with her qualifications and skills, and was recently a Mentor with the NSW Law Society Mentor and Mentee program. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She also has completed her Collaborative Practice Training with the College of Law.

Life Outside Kells

Cassandra is part of a running club in her beachside home in  Cronulla and is preparing for her very first running events – the City2Surf and the Sydney Marathon.

She also enjoys time reading (only non-legal books like crime series) and spending time with her family and friends.
