Jessica Tate

About

Jessica is the firm's human resources manager and is based in either our Wollongong or Shellharbour offices. With 23 years experience at Kells, her familiarity with the firm is second-to-none. She grew up in the Illawarra region and is known for being approachable, resilient and a good listener.  

What she does

Jessica performs a wide range of duties which include providing advice and assistance in applying sound recruitment and selection practices, appropriate induction along with training and development programs. She is also called upon to handle employee related services and assists with regulatory compliance. Additionally, Jessica is involved in employee retention through the annual performance reviews.  

If you are a university or high school student looking for work experience, Jessica will manage your placement at Kells, placing you within teams and handling any regulatory processes. Our visiting work experience students receive the opportunity to encounter and understand all areas of law and where possible attend a court hearing.

Community Involvement

Jessica regularly volunteers her time by assisting at her children’s school. 

Life Outside Kells

Jessica enjoys the fitness world and has completed a number of obstacle races with her biggest fitness achievement completing a 22km race in the Blue Mountains.
