What she does
Nikala works across the firm’s commercial litigation practice area and has developed practical, hands on experience across a comprehensive range of litigation matters. This includes assisting senior lawyers with research into legal cases and navigating complex pieces of law.
“Since beginning with Kells in September 2019, I have enjoyed working in the invigorating area of commercial litigation in our Sydney office. I love that our cases allow me to dive right into the depths of so many kinds of law and I am always learning new skills such as how to efficiently navigate complex pieces of legislation and law. Working with the team at Kells has given me a good perspective on the direction that I want my legal career to take.”
Nikala is a fourth-year student at Wollongong University studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics majoring in Economics and, she was a recipient of the University of Wollongong Vice-Chancellors High Achievers Award 2018.
She actively participates in an array of fundraising events through her local AFL club raising funds for worthwhile charities such as Beyond Blue and Black Dog. In 2020, she also completed the May50K to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia.
Life Outside Kells
