Specialist Advice For Law firms
Testamentary Trust Wills can be of great benefit to your clients, providing:
taxation advantages
protection of assets in second marriage situations
capital protected trusts for vulnerable and disabled persons and 'at risk' beneficiaries
Lindsay Stoddart, Special Counsel at Kells, can provide expert advice for your clients who would benefit from having a Testamentary Trust Will.
The benefits to you would include:
referral to a firm that values your clients and your relationship with your clients
access to best practice Testamentary Trust Wills and precedents
an innovative approach to an area of law not within your current practice portfolio
a team approach including your client, your firm and your client's financial advisor
high quality documentation
Two ways of instructing our firm:
1. You take your client's instructions using our FactFinder.
We review the instructions and contact your client/financial planner for further information as necessary. We prepare the TT Will and meet with your client (at your offices if required) for full explanation and execution. We provide you with a report letter to your clients summarising their TT Will. Our fees for that service will be costed at 90% of our standard fees.
2. You take your client's instructions using our FactFinder. We prepare the TT Will and provide it to you for you to arrange for explanation and execution with your clients. Our fees for that service are costed at 70% of our standard fees.
Are there added complexities in obtaining a grant of probate?
No. The added steps in obtaining a Grant are straightforward. Administration and establishing the Trust(s) involves simple procedures by beneficiaries' accountants.
