About
Ashleigh has specialised exclusively in family law since joining Kells in 2012. She grew up in Wollongong and is known for her ambitious but pragmatic approach.
What she does
Ashleigh is experienced across all areas of family law with a particular interest in divorce/separations, property matters including property settlements, spousal maintenance and binding financial agreements. She also has a wealth of experience in child related matters with custody arrangements, urgent recovery applications, passport and overseas travel applications, relocation matters, child support and parenting appeals.

Using my knowledge of the law and my own personal background with a family separation, I am able to identify legal solutions for my clients. I enjoy helping people get their lives back on track.”
Who Ashleigh acts for
Ashleigh acts for clients who are experiencing a breakdown of their personal relationships. This includes clients who are married or in a de facto relationship, including same sex couples or people who have had children with a partner.
Qualifications
Holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and was a finalist for the category of Young Business Woman of the Year in the 2019 Illawarra Women in Business Awards.
Community Involvement
Is a Board Director at Austlaw, a Committee Member on the board of the Mount Ousley Physical Culture Club and is an active participant in the Mentor Walks Wollongong.
Ashleigh was named the winner for the category of Outstanding Young Employee in the 2019 Illawarra Business Chamber Awards and listed as a finalist in the 2019 State Business Awards for Outstanding Young Employee across New South Wales. Ashleigh was also named a finalist in the 2019 Illawarra Women in Business Awards for Young Business Woman of the Year.
Outside of Kells
Outside the office, Ashleigh has danced competitively since the age of 5 and continues to compete each year in the Bjelke Peterson Physical Culture Championships. Ashleigh’s team has won the National Title the last 7 years in a row and she has won the title of National Champion in 2012 and 2016 at the Opera House. She is a proud mum to three gorgeous dogs: a Pug, Chihuahua and an English Staffy.
