Valentina Zmijanjac

About

 Valentina is a lawyer based in our Shellharbour office and has been with Kells since 2010. Valentina practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and commercial law since being admitted as a lawyer in 2012. She was born and raised in the Illawarra and is passionate about providing practical legal solutions to members of her local community and is known for being compassionate, meticulous and loyal.  

What she does

Valentina assists individuals with their estate planning needs. This includes drafting tailored Wills, enduring power of attorney and appointment of enduring guardian documents to suits each client’s specific needs. She assists families with all aspects of estate administration including applications for a grant of probate or a grant of letters of administration from the Supreme Court of NSW. Valentina also assist small businesses with their commercial needs including acting for individuals and companies in purchase and or sale of business and lease transactions.

I believe that each client is different and I aim to provide estate planning solutions and documents that suit my client’s specific needs and family situations.”

Valentina acts for individuals and families. She also acts for small to medium businesses.  

Qualifications

Valentina graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction (Finance) in 2011. She has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and received the Bill Macquarie Prize in the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2012 for the student who has made the most significant contribution to the course. During her university studies, Valentina was also on the Dean’s Merit List, a list exclusive to only the top 5% of students.  

Outside of Kells

Valentina enjoys spending time with her husband and young son on road trips exploring new destinations down the coast and across the hinterland. She also enjoys spending time at the beach as well as shopping for fresh produce at the local farmers markets.
