Mitchell is an experienced commercial and dispute resolution lawyer based in our Wollongong office. He grew up in Newcastle however moved to the Illawarra in 2007. He is known for his love of coffee and his philosophical and rational outlook.
What he does
Mitchell’s practice comprises corporate advice and transaction work as well as dispute resolution and litigation.
He acts for clients on a broad range of legal issues throughout all NSW Courts and NCAT, including on business and shareholder disputes, corporate and personal insolvency, building disputes and debt recovery.
His advice and transaction work includes retail and commercial leasing, strata law, private lending, privacy and data breach advice and commercial contract reviews.
Who Mitchell acts for
Mitchell has a diverse range of clients, including small, medium and large businesses, aged care providers, health related organisations and Councils.
He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (politics) from the University of Wollongong and also has a Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Business Law and Commercial Transactions and Commercial Litigation from the College of Law.
Life outside of Kells
Outside the office, Mitchell is passionate about sport. He is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Sports Law Association and spends his free time keeping up with as much world sports action as humanly possible. You will also find him at the golf course or walking his dog Loki either through Bunnings or at North Wollongong beach.
